David Francis

David Francis offers international financial advice on savings and insurance to expatriates and high net worth individuals. David joined Portfolio Builders when he made the move to Singapore in 2007, having attained his licence to practise with the Monetary Authority of Singapore.

David has established his career as a professional salesperson. Before joining Portfolio Builders, David was a Regional Sales Manager for Niagara Therapy (UK) Ltd, responsible for sales of high quality therapy products within the personal healthcare sector. Prior to that, David was instrumental in developing business for several marketing and advertising firms in London including Litmus Design, Old Hat Design and The Bridge.

He began his sales career in foreign exchange at Oppenheimer Bank on Wall Street, New York as early as the mid–1980s followed by trading financial services in London from 1989 as a Financial Services Consultant with the MI Group, from which he moved on to become a Financial Planning Associate with Allied Dunbar plc.

David’s personal interests are swimming, travelling, scuba diving, backgammon and creative writing. He is also a former chairperson of a local community organisation.
